Areas of focus
Trained in the assessment of various learning and mental health difficulties for persons throughout the lifespan. Proficient in assessing the following areas: intellectual, academic, memory, visual-motor integration, attention, executive functioning, phonological processing, oral language, mental health, self-concept, adaptive functioning, social skills, and Autism.
I bring over 20 years of experience in psychometry and mental health in a variety of settings including clinical research, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, and forensics. My diverse training and experience working with individuals from many different backgrounds and life circumstances has strengthened my ability to adapt my approach to meet each person’s unique needs. Having worked in complex clinical environments, I am also comfortable navigating sensitive or challenging situations. I strive to approach these moments with professionalism, empathy, and a calm, grounded presence.
I also have experience teaching in the areas of dog training and photography. I own a dog photography business where I specialize in outdoor portraits. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and reading non-fiction. Dogs are also an important part of my life, and I volunteer with dog rescue organizations whenever possible, using my photography skills to raise funds and help adoptable dogs find loving homes.
